Buffy and her friends are shaken when they meet Dracula in Sunnydale. He hypnotises Buffy and Xander becomes his
slave. Meanwhile Giles wants to return in England as he feels Buffy don't need his help anymore. When Buffy comes back home we see a girl
in her room, who proves to be her sister.
Buffy is forced to take her sister Dawn with her and Giles to the magic shop, where they found the owner dead, killed by a new
vampire gang. Nobody takes Harmony and his "minions" seriously until Dawn is kidnapped, forcing Buffy to save her. Meanwhile Giles is
thinking about owning the magic shop.
A demon called Toth divides Xander into two - his good and his bad side. The good Xander thinks the other one is a demon who's
stolen his face and he tries to advertise his friends. But bad Xander fools everyone, including Buffy.
Riley's condition gets worse when the aftereffects of the experiences made on him appears. Buffy gets him to the Initiative doctor where
they find Spike has forced the doctor to remove his chip.
Buffy investigates as possible supernatural cause behind her mother's illness. She first suspects Dawn but then her search leads her to
Glory, a demon-girl much more powerful than her. Buffy rescues a monk who explains that Dawn is the Key, sending to her as a sister
for protection. Meanwhile Giles re-opens the magic shop and asks Anya to work for him.
Tara is about to celebrate her 20th birthday and his family comes in town to take her home
before she turns into an evil demon like her mother did at the same age. Meanwhile Buffy and Giles tries to learn more about Glory.
Buffy's looking for information about slayers's last battles and asks Spike to tell her how he was able to kill two slayers. He doesn't
just tell that, but all his story as vampire. Meanwhile Joyce's conditions get worse.
Glory conjures a giant snake to find the Key, who goes directly to Dawn, but Buffy kills him before he can report that to Glory. Meanwhile
Joyce learns she has a brain tumor.
When a released mental patient is killed by an alien, the Scoobies investigate. They discover it's
a demon which kills crazy people. One of them follows Joyce who has a period of incoherence and infiltrats Summer's home.
While Riley is at Buffy's place, he leaves in the middle of the night and goes to a vampire brothel. After following him, Spikes wakes
Buffy up and takes her to the brothel. When the military asks Riley to go to Belize, he tells Buffy that he will leave if she doesn't give
him a reason to stay.br>
When Giles leaves Anya and Willow in charge of the magic shop, between two quarrels they accidentally conjures an enormous troll.
The Watcher's Council come to Sunnydale and force Buffy to perform tests or they won't tell her informations
about Glory and Giles will be deported back to England.
Dawn discovers she's the Key. To learn more about herself, she goes to hospital to see mad guys who seems to know. She meets Ben who
realises who she is just before morphing into Glory.
Drusilla arrives in Sunnydale to help Spike finding his killer ways. But this one loves Buffy and is ready to kill Dru to prove his love.
- 15 I Was Made to Love You
April, a girl-robot made to love, is looking for the man who manufactered her. When this one tells now he loves Buffy, April attack her.
When Buffy returns home, she finds her mothers's body lying on the couch.
Buffy, Dawn and their friends are confronted to Joyce's death, due to complications after his operation.
Dawn wants to bring her mom back to life. She steals a book from the Magic Box and performs a spell with Spike's help.
Giles takes Buffy to the desert to perform an ancient Slayer ritual. Spike has asked Warren to build a Buffy-robot who's a perfect copy
of the real Buffy. Meanwhile Glory has learnt the Key is human and after seeing Buffy-bot and Spike she thinks he is the Key.
Glory brain-sucks Tara because she refuses to tell her who's the Key. Willow goes to Glory's appartment and hurt her with dark magic.
The Goddess then goes to Willow and Tara's dorm room, where there are Buffy and Dawn. But when Tara, who's out of her mind, talks of
the energy Dawn is, Glory finally understands who's the Key.
To protect Dawn, Buffy and the Scoobies have to escape. While they are on the road, they are attacked and Giles and Spike are wounded.
They call Ben to give medical aid but he morphs into Glory and she kidnapps Dawn. Meanwhile Dawn has learnt she has the power to destroy
the universe.
- 21 The Weight of the World
Buffy goes catatonic after Glory kidnaps Dawn, so Willow uses a spell to enter into her mind. Meanwhile Ben tries to help Dawn to escape.
The Scoobies prepare to go to war with Glory, who's preparing to use Dawn to break down the walls between the dimensions. But to save the
world, Buffy has to make a sacrifice.
